Our Curriculum: A Deep Dive

Our comprehensive micro-credential program is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills across the spectrum of digital health. The curriculum is divided into three core modules, totaling 30 ECTS credits. This is a tentative programme, which will be adjusted according to the specific needs that will emerge from the survey.

Module 1: IT in Healthcare (10 ECTS credits)

This foundational module covers the essential technologies that are transforming modern medicine and health administration. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the systems that power digital health.

Key Topics Include:
  • BIG Data in medicine
  • Medical information systems
  • Computer networks for clinics
  • Medical data storage systems and remote access
  • Artificial intelligence in medicine

Module 2: Telemedicine (10 ECTS credits)tures:

This module focuses on the principles and platforms that enable effective and secure remote patient care, a cornerstone of modern digital health.

Key Topics Include:
  • Transfers and protection of personal data in telemedicine
  • Fundamentals of telemedicine (tasks, opportunities, and limitations)
  • Telemedicine platforms (tasks and design features)
  • Videoconferencing standards and remote video consultations
  • Technologies for interactive distance learning for medical specialists

Module 3: Practical Aspects in E-Health and Telemedicine (10 ECTS credits)

This module provides hands-on, practical knowledge for the real-world implementation of digital health solutions, from planning to execution.

Key Topics Include:
  • Practical exercises on doctor-doctor and doctor-patient teleconsultations ands.
  • Recommendations on infrastructure (communication channels and equipment)
  • Guidelines for choosing medical devices, telemedicine platforms, and analysis programs
  • Conducting a feasibility study for a telemedicine project in a clinic or region
